Measure K Oversight Committee
Measure K, a half-cent transactions & use tax (or sales tax) for 20 years, was approved by Pleasant Hill voters at the November 8, 2016 election. The measure takes effect April 1, 2017.
The money from Measure K will be used to build a new library and make infrastructure improvements throughout the city including streets resurfacing, storm drain and sidewalk improvements and additional bike and pedestrian paths. For more information see the Measure K webpage. The measure requires that an oversight committee be established to ensure that voter-approved funds are spent appropriately.
